Fairy Cooking!!

I found this delightful book at a book sale- granddaughters love it-
filled with yummy recipes and cute fairies flitting to and fro!

(will take better pics in a few days, granddaughters borrowed the book)

Every little girl who loves fairies and eating yummy things
should adore this imaginative,
illustrated fairy recipe book.
Delicate and delicious sweet and savory projects,
including fairy stars and the ever-popular fairy cakes, can be
made by following the simple step-by-step instructions.

Older fairy lovers should find inspiration in this book for children's parties
while the completed recipes would also make excellent gifts.

Vintage British Reader Janet and John

I have collected (from eBay) a few of these vintage
readers from the UK- Janet and John.
My grandchildren love, love, love me
to read the stories to them.
They really enjoy Peter and the Donkey-
Peter tries to make friends with his
uncle's donkey- but the donkey has a "bad
look in his eyes."
Keep your eyes open for these treasures!

nice gift for a graduate!) face fears and rise to challenges.

Last Saturday, at a library book sale, found this little gem-
Where's My Baby by H.A. Rey (of Curious George fame)-
from 1951. Bookfinder.com says a used one sells
for between 80-280.00. Nice. Great book- My husband totally
remembers this book from his childhood- every animal page has a flap-
and he remembers drawing them and they inspired him
greatly- he is an artist now, too!
Keep your eyes open for a used copy- my grandkids will
love this!
